Olá Kate!
I do not have any exam samples, but I do have a recommendation for a book that has and that you can buy on Amazon.

Hi Mia–do you have a list of the most common verbs? Or the verbs most important for beginners to start with?
Hi 🙂
Thank you for your comment.
I don’t have a list of the most common verbs (yet), unfortunately. I might create something like this in the future 🙂
In the meantime, feel free to check out a list of 50 Common Portuguese Phrases To Use In Conversations:

Mia, I watched the first video. You are fantastic! One request is that you make your face bigger in the top right corner. If we can see your mouth and lips moving, it would be very helpful. Your face is very tiny in the tutorial. While practicing pronunciation, I would like to mimic you and move my lips exactly as you do.
Olá Jeannine! That is great that you enjoyed the video! Thank you so much for letting me know 🙂
Ok, I will have that in mind when recording next time! I hope you continue to enjoy my page. Also, have you checked my brand new European Portuguese Speech Course? It can really take your pronunciation to the next level! 🙂 Check it out here:
https://school.learn-portuguese.org/p/speech-course
In there I analyse the different basic sounds of Portuguese, where they are produced within the mouth, how you can mimic the sounds to sound more native. I also go through the main transformations that native speakers make when they speak and I analyse some natural speech and go through it with you to identify the different things native speakers do when speaking naturally and at their normal speech rate. I also have specific videos for you to follow along and check how the sound is being produced within the mouth – these videos are bigger so you can easily mimic them – and I also say words that contain those sounds so you can follow along and try it out yourself.
Should you want to check it out, you can go here:
https://school.learn-portuguese.org/p/speech-course
And don’t forget: you always have the 30-day money-back guarantee. No questions asked 🙂
I just thought I would let you know as it seems you are interested in pronunciation.
I wish you all the best and if you have any questions now or in the future, please don’t hesitate to contact me 🙂
If you need any further help, please let me know.
Beijinhos,
Mia.

Hi Mia!
I’m very much interested to learn European Portuguese Language. Do you offer online(via skype) classes or one on one tutorials? How much it will cost? I’m a beginner, please keep me posted. Thank you!
The reason I wanna learn the language is because my boyfriend is portuguese and when we went to Porto last october 2016 to meet his friends and family I felt a bit out of place.
Because most of his relatives doesnt talk english
So he needs to translate it to me and only Few of his friends can talk english with me so I felt quite sad about it because I’m very conversant but during that time I was just silent most of the time. So I was thinking I need to step up and do something that I can benefit from and others cN benefit from me.
Well, this is just an inquiry because I dont know if my budget can fit to enrol in a European language course.
Pls keep me posted. Thanks!
Hi Eynah!
Thank you so much for your comment and interest!
I do offer Skype lessons, but I do it mainly through a platform. You can check it here: https://learn-portuguese.org/learn-european-portuguese-online-on-italki
If you enrol through that link, you get a 10 dollar voucher, which you can use to take a trial class with me or with any other teacher. You can choose which teacher has the best fees for you and that will benefit you the most. All professional teachers there had to submit certificates, so they should all be good. IF you sign in, take a trial lesson and decide italki is something you would like to do, you can continue taking classes online there and share your experiences with other people in the community there. IF not, you can unsubscribe and you won’t have paid anything. The trial lesson will be for free there, since you get the 10 dollar voucher, so you have really nothing to lose. Just try it out 😉
If you are also a person, who likes to experience new approaches for language learning. Like, if you have tried to learn the grammar, vocabulary etc through conventional methods and it hasn’t worked, you might as well want to try out a new language learning approach, that I speak about here: https://learn-portuguese.org/european-portuguese-language-course-the-mimic-method
There is a black Friday/cyber Monday (so until tomorrow, 27.Nov) discount in this link https://ki236.isrefer.com/go/ME_Black_Friday/MiaEsme/ and you can purchase the full course by clicking the link and watching the video. The buying mode will appear after. This method is being used nowadays with a lot of people who have been enjoying it and getting amazing results with it! I am trying it myself for German and so far seems really cool 😀
Well, I hope this information will help you reach the level of Portuguese you want. If you decide to take classes with me on italki, that would be really cool!
Also, if you have any more doubts, please don’t hesitate to contact me again. I am more than willing to help.
Finally, please do come back here to my website, since I am constantly uploading new things. I will soon upload some videos that you will be able to watch for free (at least a part of those videos).
Thank you very much once again!
Beijinhos,
Mia

Hi Eynah!
Please check my answer on the other comment I left you 😉 Thank you!
Hi Mia,
This is great information as well as a great word document you have provided. I think you are going to help a lot of people in the very near future with this information. Keep up the great work
Thanks for your comment! I hope I’ll be able to help people learning a bit about my language and my culture!
Thank you very much again! Please come back some time as I will be adding more materials and posts!
Cheers,
Mia
Always been excited about learning Portuguese. Looking forward to reading all your blog posts and resource materials haha.
I just went through reading your pdf on pronunciation, and it was really great! I think you must be a great teacher 🙂
What do you think about finding a language exchange partner? I guess it could help a lot if a native Portuguese speaker could teach me a bit.
hi Marcus! Thank you very much for your reply! I really appreciate it!
I think getting a language partner is always good, cause you’ll learn things you probably wouldn’t on your own! In some days I’ll be posting a blog post about that and where to find language partners and teachers. Please do come back so you can find out all about it!
Thank you again and lots of success!
Mia
